Brooks Pierce Honored by the United Way of Greater Greensboro

Leading North Carolina law firm Brooks Pierce was presented with the “Living United Award” at the United Way of Greater Greensboro’s annual meeting on June 13. The award is given to an organization whose campaign embodies the motto “giving, advocating and volunteering.” The award was accepted on the firm’s behalf by April Prevette, human resource generalist, Sharon O’Brien, paralegal, and Clint Morse, partner.

Brooks Pierce was recognized for its exceptional campaign activities and company-wide involvement, high employee participation and participation on the United Way of Greater Greensboro’s board and various committees. In 2017, the firm raised nearly $110,000 for United Way of Greensboro through various firmwide events, including a bake sale and bake-off, craft day, chili cook-off and jeans day.
