Brooks Pierce Partner Jennifer Van Zant Recognized as a Top Female Litigator by Benchmark Litigation

Brooks Pierce partner Jennifer Van Zant was recognized by Benchmark Litigation in its sixth edition of the Benchmark Top 250 Women in Litigation. This is her third consecutive year on the list.

The Top 250 Women in Litigation is dedicated to honoring the accomplishments of America's leading female trial lawyers and features female litigators from all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Attorneys are nominated based on extensive client and peer reviews.

Van Zant focuses her practice on complex business litigation, aiding clients in matters of ownership disputes, class action suits and antitrust litigation. She has been recognized annually for her business litigation work by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business since 2007, North Carolina Super Lawyers since 2010 and The Best Lawyers in America since 2007. She has also been named to Business North Carolina’s “Legal Elite Hall of Fame,” and was recognized by the Triad Business Journal as a 2016 “Outstanding Woman in Business.” Van Zant is a member of BackPack Beginnings’ board of directors, a member of both the American Bar Association and North Carolina Bar Association’s litigation and antitrust sections and a permanent member of the Fourth Circuit Judicial Conference.
