Brooks Pierce Partners to Speak on Digital Marketing at 2014 Internet Summit

Four Brooks Pierce partners will speak about some of the top legal issues facing digital marketing at the 2014 Internet Summit, being held November 11 – 13 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Digital marketing and media attorneys Stephen Hartzell, Charles Marshall, Elizabeth Spainhour, and Thomas Varnum will present alongside top industry leaders, including Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak and top executives from companies such as LinkedIn, Twitter, ESPN, Google and Yahoo.

The Brooks Pierce partners will lead a discussion titled “The Digital Marketer’s Legal Playlist: Greatest Hits” on Thursday, November 13, from 11:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. The fast-paced and entertaining session, featuring its own Spotify playlist, will examine the top legal concerns digital marketers face, including fair use of copyrighted images, data privacy, and online reputation management, and will share insight on digital marketing legal implications and best practices.
