Brooks Pierce attorney Natalie Sanders was recently quoted in a Triad Business Journal article on how employers and workers can comply with issued guidance when returning to work in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The article, entitled, “Lawyers offer advice on how employers, workers can comply with back-to-work guidelines,” provides information on how businesses can begin to reopen and ensure they are following guidelines to return to work safely.

Sanders states “social distancing is one of the keys to reducing the spread.” However, “that’s difficult to maintain in all work environments. And things change a lot on that as far as what additional measures employers are going to need to take, whether they can maintain that six feet or not. If they can’t, then they probably need to do additional measures like wearing masks and taking temperatures. But the bottom line is use the resources that the CDC and OSHA has provided,” Sanders said.
