Justice Frye Receives Distinguished Service Award

Justice FryeThe Greensboro Bar Association has honored Justice Henry E. Frye with its Distinguished Service Award. Brooks Pierce partner John Small presented the award to Justice Frye at a member meeting on April 17.

The Association established the Distinguished Service Award to honor individuals who have served the community in their professional and private lives.

Professionally, Justice Frye has spent 24 years in the private practice of law, 14 years in the North Carolina General Assembly, ten years as President of a local bank, two years as an assistant U.S. Attorney, two years as a law school professor, and more than 17 years on the Supreme Court of North Carolina.

Justice Frye is a recognized business leader and community advocate. He serves leadership roles in many non-profit, academic, professional and civic organizations and is continually recognized for his dedication and contributions to state and local communities.
