Since joining Brooks Pierce in 1966, Erwin Fuller has focused his practice in real property, estate planning and estate administration. With more than 50 years of legal experience, Erwin has an in-depth understanding of the legal landscape and how to best serve his clients’ needs.
Erwin has more than 50 years of experience in handling commercial and other business property acquisitions, as well as commercial loan closings for both borrowers and lenders. He also has handled a variety of other real estate matters, such as rezoning proceedings, right-of-way issues and the preparation of property purchase and sale documents.
For 15 years, Erwin handled all of the low-income housing loan closings for Community Investment Corporation of North Carolina (now Community Investment Corporation of the Carolinas), a subsidiary of the North Carolina Bankers Association. White this work has largely transitioned to Brooks Pierce partner Iain MacSween, Erwin is still involved and works with Iain as needed and requested.
Additionally, Erwin represents Guilford County Schools on a wide range of real property matters.
Erwin works with individuals throughout the entire estate planning process and helps his clients transfer wealth in a tax-efficient manner.
Erwin works with individuals and their families in the administration of estates and the complex legal issues that arise.

My goal during my more than 50 years of law practice has always been to produce a legal product of high quality on a timely basis for a fair and reasonable charge. My second goal has always been to treat all persons with whom I have contact, including opposing counsel and their clients, with courtesy, patience and respect, just as I would wish to be treated if our roles were reversed.
