Brooks Pierce partner Ed Turlington moderated a panel of Governors and industry leaders at the Democratic Governors Association Regional Policy Conference in Charlotte on April 26.
Turlington moderated the panel entitled "Harnessing Innovations in Technology to Create Jobs and Cut Costs." Governors on the panel were Beverly Perdue of North Carolina, Martin O'Malley of Maryland, Chris Gregoire of Washington and Jay Nixon of Missouri. The industry representatives were from Cisco, Elcom, GeneXus, Hewlett-Packard, Pitney Bowes and Xerox.
Turlington, who serves as State Government Counsel to the North Carolina Technology Association, advises a number of technology companies on legal and procurement issues. He also represents businesses in the field of media, telecommunications, health care, transportation and finance.
