The presentation, “Maintaining Business Operations Under COVID-19 and Ongoing Workplace Regulations,” focused on applicable employment laws and regulations pertaining to employers’ obligations when employees request leave due to school and childcare closures related to COVID-19, including virtual school; handling temporary and permanent layoffs; and practical tips for businesses to avoid employment and safety-related litigation.

Langley has over 25 years of experience representing businesses in employment litigation in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings, including discrimination matters, civil rights, executive compensation disputes, non-competition agreements, and trade secret protection.
