Mark Prak represents businesses and trade associations of businesses operating websites, television stations, radio stations, cable television systems, newspapers, magazines, radio networks, television production companies, telephone companies, wire services, and other communications enterprises. He assists these companies and associations in administrative, antitrust, corporate, employment and intellectual property law and business litigation.
Charles Marshall practices in the areas of civil litigation, media and communications law, and government relations. He appears regularly before state and federal courts and has experience in appellate practice. He also assists clients on legislative and regulatory matters before Congress, the Federal Communications Commission, the North Carolina General Assembly, and local governmental bodies. Charles has experience assisting clients in public advocacy through speechwriting and preparation of public testimony on various policy issues. His background includes legal and political experience in each of the three branches of the federal government - as a law clerk to the Honorable John D. Butzner, Jr. on the Fourth Circuit; as an attorney at the United States Department of Justice; and as an aide to U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell.
