Brooks Pierce hosted the NC TECH Association’s Government Vendor Network in its Raleigh office on Jan. 30.
The event speaker was Keith Werner, vice president of IT and Chief Information Officer of the University of North Carolina system. Werner outlined the system’s IT strategy and discussed his work plan to accomplish these goals. The Brooks Pierce government affairs team also presented an update on government affairs to attendees.
The NC TECH Association is a statewide trade association for information technology companies with over 700 members. Brooks Pierce has served as state government counsel to the association since 2005 with partner, Ed Turlington and government relations advisor, Matt Bales* representing it before state government.
