Brooks Pierce Partner Charles S. Baldwin Discusses Structuring Cross-Border Commercial Transactions

Brooks Pierce partner Charles Baldwin co-presented a continuing legal education webinar for Strafford Publications on Tuesday, Dec. 11.

During the webinar, entitled “Structuring Cross-Border Commercial Transactions: Negotiating and Drafting Key Deal Terms,” Baldwin offered guidance to transactional attorneys and legal departments on important factors in deal analysis and structure, avoiding risks, dispute resolution and transaction management, including recommendations for legal compliance. The webinar provided insight on current developments, including U.S. and European Union data security and privacy regulations. 

Based in Wilmington, Baldwin uses his broad experience in cross-border transactions to help his clients “go global” and execute their business plans. He regularly advises businesses on international, private equity and transactional matters. He is a frequent speaker on trade, transactional, arbitration/dispute resolution and regulatory issues.
