Brooks Pierce Partner Speaks at UNC School of Government’s 53rd Annual School Attorneys Conference
Brooks Pierce partner Jill Wilson presented at the University of North Carolina (UNC) School of Government’s 53rd Annual School Attorneys Conference. The event was held Feb. 7 in Chapel Hill.
Wilson’s presentation, “Automated School Bus Safety and Contracts for Them,” discussed recent legal matters involving school boards and provided insight into what boards should consider if implementing school bus cameras.
The one-day conference offered school board attorneys and superintendents an opportunity to learn about and discuss current issues related to public education law.
Wilson represents numerous public school boards of education, private educational institutions, colleges and universities on a wide range of education issues and in litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts. She has advised and/or litigated on all aspects of education.
