Brooks Pierce partner Sue Young will participate on a panel at Geneva Group International’s (GGI) Pan-American Regional Conference June 20-23 in Houston.
The session will discuss best practices and professional tips for attorneys, accountants and dealmakers on advising clients pursuing an acquisition.
The panel, entitled “Take a Walk on the Buy-Side,” will discuss from a buyer’s perspective the period after the letter of intent including due diligence, financing, merger and purchase agreements, ancillary matters and documents and post-closing adjustments and claims.
With a background in accounting and a deep understanding of finance, Young has experience representing clients in matters ranging from mergers, acquisitions and dispositions to representing businesses, individuals and financial institutions in complex agreements and transactions.
