Brooks Pierce partners Darrell Fruth and David Sar will moderate the American Bar Association Intellectual Property Section Roundtable in Raleigh on Dec. 5. The discussion, titled “How to Identify and Contract with a Cloud Services Provider That You Can Really Trust,” will help attendees better assess and evaluate the growing number of Cloud-oriented resources and services provided through the Internet.
Fruth regularly advises clients on Software-as-Service agreements and other technical and legal issues with doing business on the cloud. He currently serves as Chair of the Intellectual Property Section of the North Carolina Bar Association.
Sar represents clients in matters, including disputes, involving trademarks, patents, copyrights, trade secrets, and technology. He has extensive experience with software licensing.
