Legal Aid of North Carolina (LANC) is a statewide, nonprofit law firm that provides free legal services in civil matters to low-income people in order to ensure equal access to justice and to remove legal barriers to economic opportunity.
Brooks Pierce is proud of its commitment to provide pro bono legal services to individuals and civic organizations that need legal services but cannot afford them. Pro bono service is not just a professional obligation; it strengthens our communities and enhances the lives and legal practices of those who serve.
