Charles Marshall Participates in Greater Women's Business Conference on Cybersecurity
Brooks Pierce partner Charles Marshall recently participated in a panel at the 3rd annual POP, Too! Conference hosted by Greater Women’s Business Council. Marshall partnered with FBI Special Agent Jessica Nye on a panel discussion focused on cybersecurity concerns for entrepreneurs.
Marshall and Nye spoke to attendees about what federal and state laws apply to data breaches, considerations companies should take when creating data privacy policies and steps businesses can take to reduce the risk of a data breach.
During the POP, Too! Conference, women business owners and procurement professionals from around the Carolinas learned about ways to grow and protect their businesses, while also having the opportunity to network and enhance business relationships.
