Ed Winslow Moderates Panel at the American Bar Association’s 2020 Midyear Meeting and Winter Workshops
Brooks Pierce partner Ed Winslow will participate in the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Midyear Meeting and Winter Workshops Feb. 13-14 in Austin, Texas.
Winslow will preside at a meeting of trustees of lawyers’ trust account programs from the United States and Canada and will lead a panel discussion entitled “Advanced Topics in Banking…The Impact of Changes in Banking on the Sustainability of the Current IOLTA Model.” The panel will discuss the advent of the digital banking and the “real time payments system.”
Winslow, former managing partner of Brooks Pierce, has practiced law for over 40 years, with a focus on litigation, corporate law and banking and financial services. He is the past chair of the board of trustees for the North Carolina State Bar Plan for Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts and was the first North Carolina attorney appointed to the American Bar Association’s Commission on the Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts.
