Justin Outling, a partner at Brooks Pierce, addressed the 2018 Greensboro Fellows at their Welcome Reception on June 13.
Outling, who spoke about his work as an attorney with Brooks Pierce and as the District Three representative for the Greensboro City Council, encouraged the fellows to take advantage of all the opportunities the fellowship program provides them with to grow professionally. He also encouraged them to get involved and engage with the local community.
The Greensboro Fellows Program provides college students with opportunities for professional growth through local internships, mentorships, community engagement and leadership development. This year’s program consists of 114 fellows from 31 different universities who are interning within 43 different organizations in Greensboro.
