Brooks Pierce partner and Greensboro City Councilman Justin Outling recently spoke at the PLANIT GSO kick-off event at Greensboro’s Center City Park on Friday, Oct. 5.
PLANIT GSO is the City of Greensboro’s process for creating its next comprehensive plan, the roadmap that will guide Greensboro’s investments and growth for the next 20 years. In his welcome address, Outling shared a status update on the process and current level of community involvement in the plan. He also encouraged attendees to play an active role in the ongoing development of the initiative.
Outling focuses his practice on business litigation and white-collar criminal defense, representing clients in matters involving breaches of contract, unfair competition and trade practices, fraud claims, shareholder disputes, commercial financing and governmental investigations. A UNC-Greensboro alumni and active member of the Greensboro community, Outling has served as a councilman for the City of Greensboro since 2015. He also serves as co-chair of the board of visitors for UNC-Greensboro and on the board of directors for the Hospice Foundation of Greater Greensboro and Greensboro Downtown Parks, Inc.
