Turlington moderates panel at meeting of Governors

Brooks Pierce partner Ed Turlington moderated a panel of Governors and industry leaders at the Democratic Governors Association Center for Innovative Policy conference in Charlotte on October 4.

Turlington moderated the panel entitled "The New Economy: Creating Jobs through Innovations in Technology." Governors on the panel were Beverly Perdue of North Carolina, Martin O'Malley of Maryland, Mark Dayton of Minnesota and Dannel Malloy of Connecticut. The industry representatives were from ACS, Cisco, Microsoft, SAS and Xerox.

Turlington, who serves as State Government Counsel to the North Carolina Technology Association, advises a number of technology companies on legal and procurement issues.
