Brooks Pierce Partner Participates in Panel at Federal Communications Bar Association CLE
Brooks Pierce partner Mark Prak participated in a panel discussion titled, “The Future of Video Programming Regulation,” for the Federal Communications Bar Association’s Continuing Legal Education program on April 15.
The discussion highlighted the history of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and how innovations in technology and media brought about various federal regulations. Prak was joined by John Bergmayer, legal director at Public Knowledge, and Wayne Johnsen, a partner at Wiley Rein, to discuss issues that may impact future FCC regulation of video programming.
A seasoned litigator and counselor, Prak represents businesses and trade associations, with particular expertise in media and communications law. For some clients, he provides specialized regulatory, legislative, corporate or litigation work. For others, he serves an outside general counsel role. Throughout his career, he has developed a capacity for solving complex problems that have stymied others.
