Brooks Pierce attorney Jamey Lowdermilk will participate on a panel at the Carolina Farm Stewardship Association’s (CFSA) 2021 Sustainable Agriculture Conference on Nov. 13 at 10:30 a.m.
The panel, “Land Use, Farm Transfers, and Asset Protection,” will discuss land use and zoning regulations, farm transfer mechanisms, and asset protection considerations.
Lowdermilk brings her experience as a law clerk in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court to guide clients through the complicated bankruptcy process. She also represents businesses and individuals in complex commercial matters in state and federal courts and advises clients establishing new entities and reorganizing existing endeavors.
CFSA is a nonprofit organization that helps people in the Carolinas grow and eat local, organic food by advocating for fair farm and food policies, building systems that family farms need to thrive and educating communities about local, organic agriculture.
