Brooks Pierce attorney Natalie Sanders led a round table discussion for the Women’s Leadership Development Network (WithIt) conference on May 7. The annual event offers professionals at any stage in their career a chance to connect with peers and develop leadership skills for their personal and professional lives.
The discussion topic, “Covering Your Legal Bases for Starting Your Own Business,” reviewed the legal process for starting a business and highlighted key decision points.
Sanders provides counsel and defense to businesses in all aspects of the employment relationship. As a former in-house counsel and operations manager for a land records management company, she understands the day-to-day functions of a business and the challenges managers face when balancing legal compliance with business demands. She brings that practical experience as well as extensive legal knowledge when counseling HR professionals and managers.
