Brooks Pierce partner Tanisha Palvia will present a continuing legal education program (CLE) with the North Carolina Bar Association on Dec. 8 from 1:35-2:20 p.m.
The presentation will address courtroom decorum and examine Rule 3.3 (candor toward the tribunal) and Rule 11 (signing and verification of pleadings).
Splitting her time between Charlotte and Greensboro, Palvia represents individuals and organizations facing governmental investigations, white-collar criminal charges and civil litigation. She is also successful in conducting internal investigations given her experience as a former Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan. She is well-versed in civil and criminal proceedings and has extensive bench and jury trial experience.
