Recruiting and Professional Development Coordinator
Brooks Pierce, a business law firm with over 110 lawyers in three offices, is currently seeking a Recruiting & Professional Development Coordinator to join our growing talent team. This position will have an instrumental role in law student and lawyer recruiting, training, integration, and development of lawyers, and other recruiting and professional development initiatives. This position will report to the Director of Recruiting & Professional Development and will work with lawyers and staff across our office locations in Greensboro, Raleigh, and Wilmington. Occasional intra-office and event travel and post-business hours work will be involved.
Qualifications
Knowledge/Experience: Qualified candidates may have 0-3 years of recruiting or professional development coordination experience. Project management, event planning, and customer service experience are also pluses.
Skills: The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented team player, who possesses multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills. Must be able to prioritize workloads, balance competing demands, and work effectively – both independently and collaboratively. Excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills are essential. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Education: Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree. Post-graduate employment demonstrating transferable skills is preferred but not required.
