Alex Elkan Discusses Essential Business Designations with the Triad Business Journal

Brooks Pierce partner Alex Elkan was recently quoted in an article with the Triad Business Journal discussing Gov. Roy Cooper’s “stay at home” order.

The article, “What you need to know about which businesses are essential and which aren’t,” details the types of businesses that are considered essential and the exemptions included in Gov. Cooper’s Executive Order.

Elkan urges companies to read the order and to take a step back and reconsider your operations. “Am I essential and didn’t even know it? See if there are certain aspects of your business that may be able to stay open.”
