Brooks Pierce attorney Anna Tison has been named to the board of directors for the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County. Tison’s two-year term began Sept. 6, 2019.
The United Arts Council is a private nonprofit that aims to better Raleigh and Wake County through arts education, programming and providing access to arts resources. The council partners with businesses, individuals, foundations and the government to raise funds and distribute grants to schools, art organizations and local artists.
Tison represents buyers, sellers, developers, lenders and investors in complex commercial real estate transactions. She provides counsel in commercial lending, joint ventures, leasing, acquisitions and dispositions of real estate. Tison is a member of Urban Land Institute, Triangle Commercial Real Estate Women and the Wake County Bar Association.
