Brooks Pierce partner D.J. O'Brien has been selected to serve on the recently established Greensboro Police Community Review Board. O'Brien, who was appointed to the board in July, will serve a three-year term.

I look forward to helping to maintain favorable relations between the City and residents.”
The Greensboro Police Community Review Board was founded to ensure the fair and transparent oversight of the Greensboro Police Department's internal investigative process. The board is tasked with reviewing complaints brought against police and assessing the investigations and findings of the Department's Professional Standards Division.
O’Brien advises and represents employers in commercial litigation, employment law, and regulatory enforcement actions. He has deep experience in all levels of federal and state appellate and trial courts in North Carolina, including the N.C. Business Court. O’Brien received a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and earned his juris doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Law.
