Brooks Pierce Attorney Selected as Attorney Editor-in-Chief of Esports Bar Publications
Brooks Pierce attorney Ryan Fairchild has been selected to serve as the attorney editor-in-chief of the Esports Bar Association’s (EBA) publications. He will serve alongside student editor-in-chief Michael Arin.
The EBA was created for attorneys and legal minds to dive deep into the issues facing the esports industry. From player contracts to media rights to sponsorship agreements, esports present a unique and complex set of legal issues unlike any other industry.
Fairchild’s diverse practice includes an emphasis on the esports industry. His passion for esports derives from being a lifelong gamer, and he understands the various esports cultures and dynamics, as well as legal, economic and structural issues facing the industry. He represents players, organizations and stakeholders in a variety of contract, intellectual property, employment and corporate issues. Fairchild frequently speaks at industry events and writes about the legal issues affecting the esports community.
