Brooks Pierce Managing Partner Ed Winslow Speaks on the Future of Legal Services

Brooks Pierce managing partner Ed Winslow recently spoke at the Convocation on the Future of the Delivery of Legal Services in North Carolina, a program organized by North Carolina Supreme Court Chief Justice Mark Martin in conjunction with the American Bar Association’s Commission on the Future of Legal Services and the North Carolina Bar Association.

The daylong program brought together a variety of stakeholders including bar leaders and key individuals who interact with the justice system. Other principal speakers included Martin, American Bar Association President William Hubbard, Duke Law School Dean David Levi and Suffolk University Law School Dean Andrew Perlman.

In his remarks, Winslow addressed the future of the legal profession, focusing on challenges and opportunities for law firms. He anticipates a new generation of attorneys, new tools for lawyers and innovative modes of delivery of legal services, which will combine to deliver significant benefits for the public, the business community and the legal profession. 

Based in Brooks Pierce’s Greensboro office, Winslow has more than 40 years’ experience in litigation, business law, and banking and financial services law and regulation. Since being named managing partner at Brooks Pierce in 2000, he has focused on law practice management and strategic leadership, and is actively engaged with law firms and professional networks at the national and international levels.
