Brooks Pierce Managing Partner Published in News & Record
Reid Phillips, managing partner of Brooks Pierce, recently wrote a column for the News & Record focusing on the unique values that make Greensboro a special community. Using the history of Greensboro, and its residents, Phillips focused on three core characteristics that define the city: diversity and tolerance, courage and generosity.
He wrote, “An example of our welcoming spirit from more recent times is the resettling of Montagnard refugees after the war in Vietnam. People from many other places have joined us as well. Today, in fact, we have in our community people who speak more than 120 languages and were born in more than 140 countries.”
