Brooks Pierce was presented the Leading the Way award at the United Way of Greater Greensboro's Annual Meeting on April 7, 2009.
The Leading the Way award honors professional service companies for leading their industry in leadership and employee giving. Each year the winner receives a traveling trophy that stays with the company for a year. The winners in other industries were accounting firm Leeper, Kean & Rumley, L.L.P., architecture and engineering firm J. Hyatt Hammond Associates, Inc., and bank NewBridge Bank.
The award honors the exemplary results from Brooks Pierce's 2008 campaign. The firm raised $113,526.28 which exceeded our goal for the campaign by 8%. The amount of participation by all personnel earned the firm a platinum level distinction, the highest awarded given for employee participation.
