Brooks Pierce partner George House recently participated in the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new Nature Research Center in downtown Raleigh as Chairman of the Advisory Commission for the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.
The new complex will include a four-story, 80,000 SF center and a new, 172,000 SF building to house the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources.
The Nature Research Center will engage the public in ongoing scientific research. A skywalk over Salisbury Street will connect the museum and nature center. Construction is scheduled for completion in 2009.
