Justin Outling, an associate in the Greensboro office and a Greensboro City Councilman, was recently featured on Council Conversations, a production of the city focused on how the government works.
Outling spoke about many of the city’s economic development efforts and the four key factors that drive job growth: educational opportunities, infrastructure, quality of life and public safety. He said Greensboro is looking to make strategic investments in each of these areas.
“It’s great to be a part of a city that’s growing and really starting to look forward and be strategic in its decisions about how to drive job growth and quality of life,” Outling said.
He also talked about some of the steps the city has taken to provide more transparency into the police department, including adopting a policy prohibiting racial profiling and being the first municipality in the state to adopt a policy for releasing video footage from body-worn cameras.
