Kearns Davis, a partner with Brooks Pierce and president of the North Carolina Bar Association, was interviewed by television stations in Raleigh, Charlotte and Greensboro on March 2 and March 3 to help promote 4ALL Service Day, an annual event sponsored by the NCBA. On 4ALL Service Day, hundreds of attorneys from across the state staff call centers, offering free legal advice on a number of topics. Several Brooks Pierce attorneys participated in the event.
Davis, a white-collar defense attorney and former prosecutor, spoke to WFMY in Greensboro about how to get a criminal charge removed from your record, including under what circumstances a charge can be expunged. He also spoke about what steps to take if you are charged with a crime and the potential consequences of not showing up in court.
