Brooks Pierce partner Libby Brewington has been appointed to the Canterbury School Board of Trustees. The three-year appointment began on July 1, 2020.
With students in preschool through 8th grade, Canterbury focuses exclusively on young learners. Students at every age are challenged academically, given room to grow spiritually and provided opportunities to be leaders. Canterbury students graduate with the skills to be responsible citizens, capable problem solvers, creative thinkers, effective communicators and respected leaders.
Brewington's practice is concentrated in business law and corporate transactions. She represents clients in commercial loan transactions, purchases and sales of businesses, entity formation and business reorganizations and other corporate legal issues that arise in business operations.
