White Collar Criminal Defense Attorney Kearns Davis Appointed to NC Equal Access to Justice Commission
Kearns Davis, a partner with Brooks Pierce, was recently appointed to the North Carolina Equal Access to Justice Commission.
Established in 2005 by the North Carolina Supreme Court, the Commission is dedicated to providing greater access to the justice system for individuals of low and modest income in North Carolina.
Davis leads Brooks Pierce’s practice in the areas of white-collar criminal defense, felony trials and appeals, grand jury proceedings, and government investigations, and handles a broad range of federal and business litigation. He is a former Assistant U.S. Attorney and a former law clerk for Judge Sam J. Ervin, III, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
