The American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) and the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) are bringing the ACTL’s Boot Camp Trial Skills Program to North Carolina. The in-person only event will take place from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Friday, January 24 in the Greensboro federal courthouse. It will be followed by a networking reception at Brooks Pierce’s Greensboro office. The program has been approved for six hours of CLE credit, including one hour of ethics. The early-bird registration rate is available through January 3rd.
The event is being planned by Brooks Pierce partner and ACTL Fellow Kearns Davis. Presenters will provide trial tips and analysis, as well as demonstrate effective opening statements, direct examination, cross-examination, and closing arguments. The agenda includes a demonstration from Brooks Pierce managing partner and ACTL Fellow Reid Phillips on direct examination.
