Brooks Pierce is proud to welcome David Yontz to the law firm as a partner. Yontz focuses his practice on real estate and will largely work out of the Raleigh office.

Yontz represents clients in a broad range of commercial real estate matters including acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing and financing. His experience includes drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases and related agreements for office, industrial and retail premises. He also regularly represents buyers, sellers, developers and municipalities in connection with the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate. Yontz’s practice further includes the representation of both lenders and borrowers in connection with financing secured by commercial real estate, including acquisition loans, bridge loans and construction loans.
Yontz has a bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University and juris doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois and New York and is undertaking the process to become licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
