Brooks Pierce’s Shana Fulton Included as “2022 Law Firm Leader” by Lawyers of Color
Brooks Pierce is pleased to announce partner Shana Fulton has been cited as a 2022 Law Firm Leader by Lawyers of Color. The listing, published in 2022 for the first time, provides in-house counsel with a ready directory of top attorneys of African, Asian, Hispanic and Native American descent who are legal leaders, as well as decision-makers within their law firms.
Fulton represents businesses and individuals in criminal and civil litigation, under government investigation or in conducting internal investigations. As a defense attorney and former Assistant U.S. Attorney, she has experience litigating and investigating high-profile and complex matters at all levels of federal and state trial courts. She is actively involved in the community, serving as a member of the Antitrust and Complex Business Disputes Law Section Counsel and Minorities in the Profession Committee for the North Carolina Bar Association, the N.C. Advisory Board for the Environmental Defense Fund, the Morehead-Cain Scholarship Foundation Alumni Fund Board and the Women’s White-Collar Defense Association.
Lawyers of Color is a non-profit organization devoted to promoting diversity in the legal profession and advancing democracy and equality in marginalized communities. The “Law Firm Leaders" issue was developed to give companies a comprehensive directory listing the minorities who are firm-wide managing partners, U.S. office managing partners, executive/management committee members, and practice group heads (including equivalents of different titles and co-heads).
