Brooks Pierce attorneys Claire O’Brien and Clint Pinyan will present on March 24 at the North Carolina Bar Association’s (NCBA) 2023 Administrative Law Section Program and CLE. They will provide a “Federal and North Carolina Case Law Update” including an overview of recent federal and North Carolina case law impacting those who practice administrative law.
O’Brien counsels clients on a wide range of health care issues, including compliance with federal and state regulations and day-to-day operations of health care facilities. She has significant experience advising on regulatory compliance across a broad range of industries, including counseling companies and individuals on interactions with HHS, FDA, USDA, FTC and the National Advertising Division (NAD).
Pinyan represents both regulators and regulated businesses and professionals, giving him extensive experience on both sides of the regulatory process. He also advises businesses and professionals and litigates on their behalf on regulatory issues. Pinyan has litigated numerous antitrust, government contracting, health care and other cases focusing on both federal and state trade and commercial regulation and government programs.
