Brooks Pierce attorney Jessi Thaller-Moran and Jessica Garcia, founder of Brainstormingwomen, LLC, will host a complimentary business seminar for female entrepreneurs titled “Entrepreneur 101: A Legal & Financial Toolbox for Women Starting a Business” on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at the Waverly Place Whole Foods in Cary.
The seminar will provide practical steps that women can take when starting a business, including selecting and forming appropriate legal entities, funding their business, limiting personal and company liability, contracting with providers and employees and succession planning. The presentation will also address the complications that arise when entering into a business with friends and family members as partners.
