Leading North Carolina law firm Brooks Pierce is excited to announce that Natalie K. Sanders and Tanisha Palvia have joined the firm’s Greensboro office as of counsel. Sanders provides counsel and defense to businesses in all aspects of employment law while Palvia focuses her practice on white-collar criminal defense.

Sanders advises clients on how to remain compliant with state and federal regulations and how to best position themselves against future litigation as they navigate employment issues including: investigating workplace misconduct, preparing employment and non-compete agreements, terminating employees, drafting policies, updating handbooks, promoting diversity and inclusion and avoiding discrimination and harassment claims. She also assists employers through federal and state administrative proceedings and court claims. Additionally, she is a trained collaborative lawyer, seeking to determine the root cause of a dispute and creative ways to resolve matters without utilizing the court system or a mediator. Sanders earned her bachelor’s degree at Buena Vista University and her juris doctorate from Duke University School of Law.
A former Manhattan Assistant District Attorney, Palvia has experience on both sides of the courtroom, bringing a unique understanding of the prosecutorial process to her clients. She represents individuals and organizations facing governmental investigations and administrative hearings, advising clients in how to respond to achieve the best possible outcome. Palvia earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her juris doctorate from Emory University School of Law.
