Ed Turlington Elected to Democratic National Committee

Brooks Pierce partner Ed Turlington has been elected to the Democratic National Committee (DNC), which is the governing body of the national Democratic Party.

After being nominated as one of 75 at-large Committee members by DNC Chair and VA Governor Tim Kaine, Ed was elected by the full DNC at its meeting on September 11 in Austin,TX. He was also elected to the DNC's Resolutions Committee at the meeting.

As part of his public service, Ed has served as a national advisor to three Presidential candidates as well as played senior roles in the offices of US Senator Bill Bradley, US Senator Terry Sanford, NC Governor Jim Hunt and NC Lieutenant Governor Bob Jordan. He served as Executive Director of the NC Democratic Party from 1985-1986.
