Brooks Pierce is pleased to announce that Gary Parsons has joined Brooks Pierce’s business litigation practice in the firm’s Raleigh office.

Parsons joins Brooks Pierce from the law firm of Troutman Sanders, where he handled trials and appeals in state and federal courts in North Carolina and adjoining states. Parsons has nearly 40 years of experience in complex civil litigation, representing businesses in the energy, pharmaceutical, automotive, health care, communications and insurance industries. Widely known as one of the state’s top litigators, Parsons has been recognized in Chambers USA, Benchmark Litigation, Business North Carolina’s “Legal Elite,” North Carolina Super Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America.

Parsons received his bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University and his law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
