Brooks Pierce partner Jennifer Van Zant has been recognized in the 2016 Benchmark Litigation's Top 250 Women in Litigation. This is the second consecutive year she has been named to the list.

The Top 250 Women in Litigation is dedicated to honoring the accomplishments of America's leading female trial lawyers and features female litigators from all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Attorneys are nominated based on extensive client and peer reviews.

A partner in the firm’s Greensboro office, Van Zant represents businesses on a wide range of disputes before federal courts and the North Carolina Business Court, and works closely with clients to find paths toward resolution. She has been widely recognized by her clients and peers for her success in litigation, and has been included in The Best Lawyers in America and Chambers USA: American’s Leading Lawyers for Business. Van Zant also recently chaired the local rules committee for the North Carolina Business Court.
