Brooks Pierce is proud to announce that Tanisha Palvia has been selected to participate in the South Asian Bar Association of North America’s (SABA) 2023 Leadership Institute. Palvia joins a cohort of 17 other diverse, mid-career attorneys in the organization’s third fellowship class.
The SABA Leadership Institute is an innovative leadership program designed to "mind the gap" in leadership development for mid-career attorneys and provide them with the tools they need to navigate the field and reach the top ranks of the legal profession. Starting in January 2023, these attorneys will be given access to expert speakers, seasoned SABA attorneys and peer-to-peer networking opportunities that will set them up to navigate the field and grow as leaders within the SABA community.
This year’s group of fellows represent 12 states and provinces across North America. They have contributed to 14 SABA chapters and include past and present leaders of local SABA Chapters and SABA North America. The citation describes them as “leaders in a variety of legal and policy areas and work for law firms, the government, and both small and large corporations.” More information can be found here.
Palvia, based in Charlotte, NC, represents individuals and organizations facing governmental investigations, white-collar criminal charges, and civil litigation. She is particularly successful in conducting internal investigations given her experience as a former Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan. She has considerable experience investigating claims of healthcare fraud, corporate embezzlement and fraud, discrimination and harassment, nepotism, undue influence, and sexual misconduct and uses that experience to help clients in an array of industries navigate the complex and sensitive issues related to these claims.
