Tony Copeland Highlights NC Economic Development in Triangle Business Journal

In an article published by Triangle Business Journal, Brooks Pierce Sr. Economic Development & Corporate Strategist Tony Copeland explained why he’s optimistic about the North Carolina economy in 2025.

Last year, the state drew more than $15 billion in investments in corporate relocations, expansions and other projects, Copeland wrote, which will create more than 14,000 jobs. While Hurricane Helene certainly created a number of hurdles to overcome for generations, Copeland discussed why he’s confident in the ongoing recovery efforts. And though some projects have seen their momentum slow down, there are other successes to build upon, such as Toyota opening its first-ever battery plant in North America in Liberty.

Copeland uses his real-world international experience as a corporate executive to provide a higher level of insight on corporate strategy and business incentive solutions.
