  • Matt focuses his practice in business litigation and environmental law, advising clients on a diverse range of energy law issues and environmental regulatory matters. He has a deep background in energy regulation and environmental law, and has advised clients in matters before North Carolina Utilities Commission, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the Department of Energy, and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Matt has also advised clients in disputes relating to the purchase and sale of renewable energy credits and in disputes relating to the interconnection of independent solar power generation resources.
