Brooks Pierce attorney Agustin Martinez will present to DTE Energy’s Summer Talent Exposure Program (STEP) interns on Aug. 1. Martinez is a 2013 alumnus of the program. He will offer tips for working in a corporate environment and share his experiences as a STEP intern.
STEP is an internship program at Detroit-based DTE Energy that provides undergraduate college students from underrepresented groups with unique opportunities to develop their individual talents and to experience working in a large corporate setting.
Drawing on his experience as a law clerk in the North Carolina Business Court, Martinez helps clients resolve complex disputes. He has worked with clients through all stages of litigation. Before starting his legal career, he was an HR professional at DTE Energy.
